I, along with fellow electrical engineering students in 1954, rebuilt the WRCT radio station serving the Carnegie Tech (now Carnegie-Mellon) campus as a carrier current station. I did an evening DJ show, mixing classical music with humor and news. Jean Shepherd (KYW, Philadelphia at the time) was the model for my broadcasting style.

![Mary made this vest for me about 40 years ago (still fits!) - it is an excellent tailoring vest, with working pockets. The lining was from old kitchen curtains.
